Last Best Place is home to reflections on wild lands, humanity, and the unseen. It’s where historical research, reflections on the present, and commentary about where we are converge to explore our place in the natural world.
Wild Lands – The Earth is in a constant state of change, shaped by forces both natural and human. While we attempt to control the landscape, it is in the untamed wild places—those untouched by human hands—that we can find true refuge, spiritual connectedness, and inspiration.
Humans – We examine our role on this planet, the impact we’ve made, and how we can contribute to creating a world that honors the Earth and its inhabitants – us. We are about fostering a deeper sense of responsibility and connection.
The Unseen – Beyond our immediate perception, there’s a vast realm of mystery and potential yet to be discovered.
